Donnie "Mike" Michael Long

Mr. Donnie “Mike” Michael Long, 64, of 619 Rosemary Rd., Rose Hill, passed away on Wednesday, June 01, 2022, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Mike was born August 16, 1957, in Martin County to the late Donnie Harold Long and Gaynell Mozingo Sasser. In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his brother: John Harold Long. Mike enjoyed a career as a farmer and loved growing grapes and raising cattle. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 04, 2022, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Interment to follow the service at the Long Cemetery, 289 Ira Long Rd., Harrells.

Mike leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife: Susan Rand Long of the home, two daughters: Candace Long Faircloth of Clinton; Amberly Long of Rose Hill, two grandsons: Jacob Brewington of Clinton; Elijah Brewington of Clinton, and three sisters: Diann Long Wells of Wrightsville Beach; Susan Long Lanier of Harrells; Morgan Long Sutton of Goldsboro, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 04, 2022, from 10:00 AM-10:50 AM at the Carter Funeral Home before the service.
