David Archie Blackburn

David Archie Blackburn, 56, of 2212 West City Point Road, Hopewell, VA formerly of Lumberton, NC passed away Saturday, January 15, 2021 at John Randolph Medical Center, Hopewell, VA.

Mr. Blackburn was born February 21, 1964 to Bobby Blackburn and Mary Ellen Davis Blackburn. David was preceded in death by his mother: Mary Ellen Davis Blackburn.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Meadowbrook Cemetery, 2950 N. Walnut St, Lumberton, NC.

David is survived by two sons: Brandon Blackburn, of Hopewell, VA, Ryan Blackburn, of Hopewell, VA, his father: Bobby Blackburn of Lumberton, NC, one sister: Barbara Pope and husband Jimmy of Elizabethtown, NC, two brothers: Tony Blackburn and wife Diane, VA, Stephen Blackburn and wife Sandy,  VA and a host of nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 12:00 PM (noon)-7:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland, NC and prior to the service from 2:00 PM-2:45 PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
