Danny D. Long

Danny D. Long, age 63, of Avon, Ohio, formerly of Garland, entered into rest on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at St. John Westshore University Hospital in Westlake.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Bobby & Joyce Cannon Long and daughter: Sarah Long. He was employed with First Energy for over 35 years, retiring in 2020. Danny was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He enjoyed Sunday family meals, and spending time with his children.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Garland Cemetery, Garland, NC. Pastor Chubby Reiber will be officiating the service.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years: Leea Lute Long, son: Adam (Clare) Long, daughter: Jessica (Matthew) Moran, brother: Jason Long, sister: Gina Long Pelfrey, and, granddaughter: Margaret Long.
