Mr. Clemmon Davis Smith, 74 of 10139 Old Mintz Hwy. Garland, NC passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his residence.

Clemmon was born December 15, 1946 son of the late James Alvin Smith Sr. and Rebecca Davis Smith. He was also preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Bobbie Jean Shaw; Two sisters Drucella Smith Hopson and Peggy A. Smith and sister-in-law Judy W. Smith

Graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at the Carter Cemetery in Garland. Rev. Chubby Reiber and Rev. Matthew Young will officiate the service.

Clemmon is survived by his wife of 32 years, Edna H. Smith. Son, Clemmon Smith Jr. (Tonie) of Franklin, NC. Stepdaughter Pamela Miller (Walter) of Delway, NC. Brother James “Jimmy” A. Smith Jr. (Winnie) of Garland, NC. Brother-in-law Leo Hopson of Clinton.

Four Grandchildren: Tyler Shaw of Wilmington, NC Jason Riley of Clinton, NC Lindsey Miller of Greenville, NC and Dakota Smith of Franklin, NC.

Three Great Grandchildren: Bryson, Tyson, and Jase Riley of Clinton, NC.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021, from 6-8 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Garland NC.
