Mrs. Bessie M. DeVane 79 of 180 Southwood Dr. Clinton, NC, formerly of Ivanhoe died Thursday, November 02, 2006 at Sampson Regional Medical Center, in Clinton, NC
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00A.M. Monday November 06, 2006 at Royal Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, by the Dr. Reverend Zebedee C. Herring and Reverend Harvey Robinson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. DeVane is survived by her husband, Arthur DeVane, one son, Brian DeVane of Clinton, NC, four sisters, Frances Nixon, Ethel Wright, Margaret Smith, all of Washington, DC, Betty Ingram of Atlantic City, N.J., two brothers, George Murphy, of Ft. Washington, Md., Carl Murphy of Ivanhoe, NC.
The family will receive friends from 2:00P.M.-6:00 P.M. Sunday, November 05, 2006 at Carter Funeral Home, in Garland, NC
