Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Bordeaux Evans 87 of Walter K. Evans Rd., Harrells, NC, died Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husband Joe Evans, sister Lolita Long and four brothers, Murray Bordeaux, Laddie Bordeaux, Winfred Bordeaux and Bobby Bordeaux.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, January 18, 2017 at Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Connor and Rev. Tim Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her sons, Ricky Long & wife Rhonda, Gary “Bear” Long. Daughter Winnie Lewis. Sister Allie Beal Thomas all of Harrells. 5 grandchildren. 5 Great-grandchildren
A visitation will be held January 17, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
