Amanda Lynn Thomas, 36, of 1403 Kelly Springs Road, Mt. Olive transitioned to be with her heavenly father Monday, December 21, 2020. Amanda was a faithful member of Zion Church who loved to sing and dance for the Glory of God. She didn’t mind having a praise in her heart and worship on her tongue. A sweet kindred spirit, a devoted wife, and a loving mother.
She was preceded in death by her father; David H. Carter Jr., brother; David H. Carter III, two sisters; Lisa Sparhawk, Lillian Carter, step-father; Williams Justice and a son; Ricky Thomas Jr.
Mrs. Thomas leaves to cherish her husband; Ricky Thomas of the home, three daughters; Alana Thomas of Mt. Olive, Carmela Justice of Garland, Lasha Justice of Garland, one son; Jermaine Justice of Garland and her mother; Linda Carter Justice of Garland.
The Homegoing Service will be at Noon, Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Garland Pentecostal Holiness Church, 475 West 2nd St., Garland with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The Apostle Jamal Jones of Zion Church, Mt. Olive will be officiating the service. Interment to follow at Carter Cemetery, Garland.
