Amanda “Olly” Conner, of The Gardens of Roseboro, Assisted Living Center, Roseboro, NC went home to heaven to be with her sweetheart on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2023.
Amanda was born in Widen WV on June 21st, 1933 (The longest day of the year) to the late Earl W. and Florence Blackson Hall. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles “Charlie” Conner; infant baby daughter, Deborah Marlene, and four sisters; Florine Cockran, Vaylon Queener, Glaydys Zimmerman, and Marie Burgess, and three brothers; Earl Jr., John, and Shelby Hall. She was a creative homemaker, cake decorator, and biscuit maker extraordinaire.
She is survived by her two sons, Mark Conner (Kristine) of Garnet Mountains, MT. and Scott Conner (Aneva) of Harrells, NC., three Granddaughters; Kristine, Kasandra, and Alayna, and four grandsons; Stuart, Michael, Dustin and Logan, and an even dozen Great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at The Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney, WV at 2 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2023, led by Pastor Lee Swor of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Elkview, WV.
The family would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the staff at The Gardens of Roseboro and especially “her 2 boys” (you know who you are) and The Community Home Care and Hospice of Clinton NC. You are appreciated for your service, care, love, and patience with us during this time.
