Ms. Alisha Gayle Evans, 51, of Bladen County, passed away on March 21, 2023. She was born on September 1, 1971, the first child, and only daughter, of Ralph and Hilda Evans. She graduated from East Bladen High School in 1989. She went on to study Criminal Justice at Fayetteville State University.
She proudly served her home and community of Bladen County for over twenty years. She was passionate in her work helping the citizens of her county, and all those she came across personally and professionally. Alisha was a member of the White Lake Fire Department where she continued to help those around her. She was a member of White Lake Baptist Church, where she held many positions throughout the years. Alisha loved her church family very deeply.
Alisha loved her family dearly and would do anything to ensure their happiness. She leaves behind many precious memories of good times with her children, which they will always cherish.
Alisha’s memory will be cherished by her parents Ralph and Hilda Evans, her brother Jeremy Evans, her daughter Ivey Evans, her son Nicholas Evans, his wife Pemba Evans, and her two grandchildren Liam and Salem Evans.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at White Lake Baptist Church, 7636 NC HWY 41 E., White Lake. The Reverend Carey Horrell will be officiating the service. Interment to follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at White Lake Baptist Church.
