Alice (Mccullen) Carter

Mrs. Alice McCullen Carter, of 12154 Old Mintz Hwy., Garland, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Southwood Nursing Center in Clinton.

Alice was born April 23, 1933, in Sampson County to the late James Henry McCullen and Eva Cotton McCullen.  Alice enjoyed a long career as a Teacher Assistant in the Public School System. In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by two brothers: Gordon McCullen; and Norwood McCullen, and one sister: Eloise Hudson.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the Garland Cemetery, in Garland, NC. Rev. Dewey Ball will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends after the service, at the cemetery.

Alice leaves to treasure her memory, her beloved husband: R. B. Carter, one son: Dennis Carter and wife Janet of Clinton, one daughter: Sharon Carter of Clinton, two grandchildren: Tyler Carter of Clinton; Will Carter and wife Anna Catherine of Raleigh, and a host of nieces and nephews.
