Saretta was born August 06, 1950, in Sampson County to the late Willie and Flossie Newkirk. She worked for many years as a seamstress at the Garland Shirt Factory.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland. Interment to follow the service at the Newkirk Family Cemetery in Harrells.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 1:00-6:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
