Bessie Pearl (Lamb) Watts

Mrs. Bessie Pearl Watts, 87, of 3012 Vancroft St., Pittsburgh, PA, formerly of Garland, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Bessie was born April 10, 1934, in Sampson County to the late Mitchell & Claudie Lamb. She worked for many years in the Banking Industry as a Teller. Bessie is preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Watts, daughter: Glenda Miller, three brothers: Aaron Lamb; David Lamb; Henry Lamb, three sisters: Shirley Parker; Rosie Lamb; and Jannie Lamb.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.  Burial will follow in the Garland Community Cemetery in Garland.

Bessie leaves to cherish her memory one granddaughter: Von Miller Davis of Charlotte, brother: Jimmie Lamb of Clinton, sister: Lizzie Howard of Hampton, VA, and a special nephew: Donnovan Davis.

The public will be received on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 1:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
